Our History

The Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce (Hispano Chamber) was established in 1975, by 14 members of the Hispanic business community, as a private non-profit 501(c) 6 organization, focused on improving education and economic development opportunities in Albuquerque and throughout the state of New Mexico – and one of the largest Hispanic chambers of Commerce in the United States with a history of stimulating economic development.

I had students (nine this morning!) attend both, and they are valued events and treasured traditions. It means a lot to our school to have a continued relationship with ABQ Hispano Chamber of Commerce, and we appreciate the quality of opportunities you provide our students. Everything you do is exceedingly well executed. That does so much to raise the bar for our students. It makes them feel valued and proves to them that their community truly cares. Powerful stuff.
