Empowering New Mexico’s Business Community Since 1975

Founded in 1975 by 14 visionary members of the Hispanic business community, the Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce (Hispano Chamber) is a private nonprofit 501(c)(6) organization dedicated to advancing economic development and educational opportunities across Albuquerque and the state of New Mexico.

Today, the Hispano Chamber represents a vibrant network of approximately 1,400 business owners, entrepreneurs, and professionals. Our mission is to support the growth of small businesses, foster economic empowerment, and create pathways to wealth for individuals and communities. While rooted in Hispanic heritage, we proudly serve a diverse membership—approximately 60% Hispanic-owned and 40% non-Hispanic-owned businesses—making us the largest chamber of commerce in New Mexico and one of the largest Hispanic chambers in the nation.

We are more than a chamber—we are a catalyst for opportunity. Through membership services, networking events, educational programs, workforce training, and tourism promotion, we champion the success of small businesses and celebrate the cultural richness of our community.
